Veselka ordinary

Veselka ordinary

Today we will introduce you to a very interesting and useful mushroom, which is quite widespread on the territory of Russia - the common fungus (lat. Phallus impudicus). Like many other representatives of this plant species, the veselka has not yet been fully studied. Nevertheless, already now we can safely talk about the magnificent properties of this mushroom.

Appearance

The fruit body at a young age is semi-subterranean, may be oval-spherical or ovoid, off-white in color. In this case, the diameter reaches 3-5 cm. The entire leg (arrow) grows out of the flat body at a phenomenal speed - literally in 30 minutes (growth is about 5 mm in 1 minute).

Young fruiting body of the vessel

You can see the process of mushroom growth in the following video.

The leg of the fungus is spongy, hollow inside, and the walls are quite thin.

Veselka

In a mature state, the cap has a bell-shaped appearance, there is a hole at the top. It is covered with mucus with a rather unpleasant smell, reminiscent of carrion. The color is dark olive. After some time, the spore-bearing layer of the fungus is eaten by insects. After that, the cap already has a yellowish tint, and the structure receives small, but clearly visible cells.

Where does it grow

This mushroom can grow both independently, that is, singly, and in whole groups. Mostly Veselka lives in deciduous forests, loves soil rich in humus. The spread of spores is due to insects.They are attracted by the smell of mushrooms.

On the territory of Russia, it is not very widely distributed. It is found in almost all regions of the country.

How long have the beneficial properties of this mushroom been known to humans? According to the finds, the first mention of the veselka dates back to the time of the ancient Romans. Although full-fledged stories about medical properties belong to the 17th century.

How to choose and where to buy

The season for collecting this type of mushroom begins in May and ends as early as October. During this period, you can find veselka in the forests. In addition, they can be purchased from mushroom pickers. As practice shows, such mushrooms are not sold in ordinary stores. But in vain.

You should choose only young fruiting bodies, which must be cleared of the ovoid membrane. Only in this form is the veselka suitable for eating.

As for the preparation as a medicinal product, then Veselka is prepared in the "egg" phase.

Be sure to take into account the fact that the drying of this mushroom should be carried out under the condition of a temperature of no more than 30 degrees Celsius. Dried veselki are ground in a coffee grinder, due to which we get a medicinal powder, as well as a useful seasoning for cooking.

Nutritional value and calories

It's no secret that mushrooms are a low-calorie product. However, in the case of Veselka, there is an interesting trend. In their raw form, their calorie content is in the range of 15-23 kcal. But after drying, this indicator is growing rapidly and can reach 150 kcal.

How to assemble and prepare

As already noted, a young fruiting body is required for use in food and as a medicine. It is easy to determine this, the mushroom has an ovoid shape.

Veselka - egg

As a medicine, Veselka is effective in dried and fresh form.After the mushrooms have been harvested, they do not need to be washed with water. Use a damp cloth to remove any remaining soil. Then put the mushrooms on a tight thread.

To dry mushrooms, they need to be dried, hung out in a warm, dry, well-ventilated place. They must not be exposed to direct sunlight. In general, it is desirable to use special dryers.

dried veselka

When the veselka is dry, place the mushrooms in glass jars, close them tightly and store in a place protected from the sun. The room must be dry. Under these conditions, mushrooms can be stored for about 2 years.

Chemical composition

In fact, the mushroom has a very rich chemical composition. It is because of this that Veselka is highly valued as a medicinal plant. Since ancient times, people have learned to benefit from this not the most pleasant-smelling mushroom.

The following elements must be included in the composition:

  • Fats;
  • Mushroom polysaccharides;
  • Carbohydrates;
  • mineral salts;
  • Phytoncides;
  • Vitamins, etc.

In fact, Veselka has a lot of biologically active substances. The properties of some of the components have not yet been fully studied. This can only speak of the hidden even greater healing potential of the plant. Although even today enough useful things are known about him.

Application

In cooking

To be honest, using this mushroom for culinary purposes is not the best solution. There are many varieties of other, more tasty and edible mushrooms. Therefore, it is better to use Vesselka fully as a remedy.

But you can eat it if you want.But only a young mushroom, which is in the egg stage, is suitable for this. The taste is specific.

In France, veselka is consumed raw.

Against oncology

Veselka has proven to be a great anti-cancer drug. An oncology diagnosis should not put an end to your life. Especially when it comes to the early stages.It is also important to note that with the help of veselka it is necessary to carry out the prevention of cancer.

Thanks to the active substances of the fungus, when it enters the human body, perforins are activated, counteract malignant tumors, and allow the patient to feel better. During chemotherapy, mushrooms will help reduce nausea, act as a more effective alternative to chemical drugs aimed at improving a person's condition.

Veselka can help with cancerous lesions of the following organs:

  • Milk glands;
  • Leather;
  • Lungs;
  • uterine fibroids;
  • cystic formation;
  • Throat etc.

With a malignant tumor, the tincture is taken 3 times a day 30 minutes before meals. Serving - 1 tablespoon If the tumor is benign, then take a similar portion 2 times a day, but you need to drink a raw egg.

For respiratory diseases

Here we are talking about a drug that will help to cope with bronchial asthma, as well as cure pulmonary tuberculosis.

For these purposes, some recommend the tincture that we talked about earlier. However, another recipe has proved to be much better in the treatment of these diseases.

You need to mix dried veselka powder with honey. The ratio of components is 1 to 1. Use 1-2 tablespoons three times a day. this mixture 30 minutes before a meal. Do not swallow immediately, but gradually dissolve, like candy.

See even more about the healing properties of Veselka in the next program "Contours".

Oil

We are not talking about the oil squeezed out of the mushroom by pressing. No one makes such a drug in view of objective reasons. But healthy oil can be made with the help of a veil, and in some situations it is even necessary.

The scope of the oil is very wide, as it helps with diseases such as:

  • ulcers;
  • Hypotension and hypertension;
  • Prevention after oncological diseases;
  • Gastritis;
  • joint problems;
  • tumors;
  • Problems with the kidneys, liver, pancreas;
  • Influenza, herpes, viral hepatitis and so on.

Not so long ago, it was found out that this recipe is great for helping people recover from a stroke.

Veselka oil

The oil is prepared as follows:

  1. You will need 2 tbsp. powder obtained from dried mushrooms.
  2. The powder is poured with 500 ml of oil (olive or linseed).
  3. The container is tightly closed, infused in a cool place where sunlight does not fall, for 14 days.
  4. No need to strain, take with the sediment.

Internal oil is taken in 1 tsp. or 1 tbsp. (it all depends on the severity of the disease) 2 or 3 times a day before meals. The course lasts 90-120 days.

If we talk about external use, then this oil can be smeared with affected areas of the skin formed as a result of burns, bedsores, inflammations, ulcers, skin cancer, and so on.

Juice

Surprisingly, you can get excellent juice from a veselka. It is not good at all for its taste, since it is not recommended to use it inside. The juice is useful for external use, it can cure various diseases and skin lesions.

To get juice, you need to clean the eggs and mushroom from dirt, cut into pieces and place in a jar. It is not necessary to fill in, but simply remove the container into the cellar. After some time, the mushroom will begin to secrete juice.

Cut the oar, put it in a jar

Interesting Facts

  1. In Belarus in 1992, one of the newspapers published a story. It said that one man with stomach cancer had already lost all hope of recovery. But his mother began to actively treat with the help of the fungus Veselka. To be more precise, juice was used. After two years of intensive treatment, the patient went to the hospital. There, the doctors declared him perfectly healthy.
  2. This is a very capricious mushroom. In one season, it can grow without problems in one place, but in subsequent years you will not even see a hint of its growth. What exactly this is connected with is not yet known. One way or another, Veselka is an incredibly rare mushroom in nature.
  3. Around the middle of 2007, one person named Alexander Kuznetsov found a way according to which the veselka can be grown at home. Moreover, the breeder even received a corresponding patent. It is thanks to the persistence of Kuznetsov (he himself admits that he was sometimes ready to give up because nothing worked out), today we have the opportunity to get a sufficient amount of veselka, which has the same useful properties as a mushroom growing in the wild.
  4. Outwardly, the mushroom resembles a chicken egg. If you cut it, you will see a jelly-like mass. It is in it that the main amount of useful and even healing components is concentrated. But here the moment of collecting the mushroom is important. The fact is that it grows incredibly fast. Literally in half an hour (sometimes in 2 hours), the veska can reach a height of 30 cm.This, by the way, is the fastest growth rate among all living organisms known to man.
  5. An already ripe mushroom has practically no benefit.
  6. A plucked mushroom, which was not immediately sent for conservation, is able to continue to develop for some time.
