Both cinnamon and honey are very beneficial when used alone, so it's not surprising that their combination also has healing properties. It is noted that cinnamon with honey has a positive effect on health in general, and in particular on getting rid of excess weight.

A paste made from honey (4-5 teaspoons) and cinnamon (1 teaspoon), with regular use, helps with problems with blood vessels, as well as the heart. Spread it on crackers or bread and eat it before or during breakfast. The result will be a decrease in cholesterol levels, improved breathing, normalization of heart rate and intravascular pressure.

Studies have confirmed the following effects of cinnamon and honey:

  • Reducing pain and alleviating the condition of arthritis - when drinking a drink that is honey and cinnamon diluted in hot water in a ratio of 2: 1.
  • Prevention of oncological pathologies of the stomach and bones - when used 3 times a day a mixture of honey (a tablespoon) with cinnamon (a teaspoon).
  • Reducing gas, helping with bloating, getting rid of heaviness in the stomach - when taking two tablespoons of a mixture of cinnamon and honey.
  • Strengthening immunity, stimulation of T-cells, antibacterial and antiviral effects.
  • Reduced fatigue, increased energy and stamina - by drinking a glass of water every day, in which a little mixture of cinnamon and honey is dissolved.

  • With cystitis - drink a glass of warm water daily, to which a teaspoon of honey and 2 tbsp. tablespoons of powdered cinnamon;

  • With elevated cholesterol levels - drink a drink that is diluted in water (450 ml) cinnamon (3 teaspoons) and honey (2 tablespoons);
  • For colds, take a tablespoon of honey daily, to which a quarter teaspoon is added. spoons of cinnamon;
  • For skin diseases (eczema, acne, acne, lichen) - treat with a paste of three tables. spoons of honey and one teaspoon. spoons of crushed cinnamon;
  • If you have bad breath - rinse with warm water, to which both honey and cinnamon are added;
  • For insect bites - treat the skin with cinnamon (1 part) and honey (1 part) added to water (2 parts).

If you are interested in longevity, prepare a drink of honey (4 teaspoons), cinnamon (1 teaspoon) and water (three glasses). Take up to 4 times a day for a quarter cup of this drink.

For a delicious dessert, take:

  • 4 apples
  • 4 tbsp. spoons of honey
  • 250 ml water
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon

Turn on the oven, and while it heats up, peel the apples from the cores, add a spoonful of honey and 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon there. After placing the apples in a baking sheet, pour water on its bottom and send it to the oven until cooked (about 20 minutes). Serve hot. Such a fragrant apple perfectly complements sparkling or dry white wine.

Ginger warming tea

For warming tea you need:

  • 1 liter of water
  • 2-3 cm fresh ginger
  • 1-2 cinnamon sticks
  • half an apple
  • 2 tbsp. spoons of honey

After peeling the ginger, cut it into thin slices. Slice the apple thinly as well. Put the cut pieces into the teapot, add the cinnamon and pour boiling water over it. When the mixture is infused and cools down a bit, add honey and stir. Pour into cups and enjoy!

For delicious nuts you will need:

  • 300 g walnut halves
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 2 table. spoons of powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil

Scald the nuts with boiling water, then remove the skin. Dip them in honey and leave for 24 hours. After that, roll the nuts in the powder and send them to the pan, where they will be fried over moderate heat (do not forget to stir) until the sugar is transparent. These nuts should be served hot.

Liquor

For 1 liter of vodka or cognac, take:

  • 500 ml acacia or linden honey
  • 200 ml water
  • cinnamon to taste

Add honey to slightly warmed water and stir until completely dissolved, then add cinnamon. After cooling the drink, fill it with alcohol, mix and pour into bottles that should be corked. Infuse the liquor for eight weeks, and after filtering, leave for another 2 weeks.

For 500 ml of alcohol and 400 ml of water, take:

  • 500 g honey
  • cinnamon stick
  • a little ginger root
  • 4 pieces of cloves
  • 1/2 tsp. cumin spoons
  • two star anise
  • one vanilla pod
  • three pods of cardamom
  • 1/2 tsp. spoons of soda

Place soda and spices in water and boil for half an hour. After cooling, add honey, and when the syrup has completely cooled, pour in alcohol. After keeping the resulting drink in a cold place closed for three days, filter, bottle and let stand for at least another two weeks.

Both cinnamon and honey can be used separately for beauty treatments, but their combination significantly increases the effect of each component.

Honey-cinnamon masks have the following effects:

  • bactericidal effect.
  • Tonic effect, skin nutrition and rejuvenation due to a large number of trace elements and vitamins.
  • Eliminate inflammation and stop the processes of suppuration.
  • A regenerating action that helps eliminate acne marks and spots, as well as scars.

Note that the cost of masks, the components of which are cinnamon and honey, is quite low. These are inexpensive and readily available ingredients. There are many ways to make a mask though.

The best cinnamon and honey mask recipes are:

  1. Anti-acne (Best for those with problematic or oily skin). Take 1/3 tsp. spoons of cinnamon powder and honey, add low-fat sour cream (a teaspoon), mix thoroughly and apply on face. After fifteen minutes, rinse with warm water, and then rinse the skin again with cold water. This mask should be done within a month, two to three times a week. The result will be a decrease in oily skin, getting rid of acne, smoothness, no oily sheen.
  2. Nutritious (recommended for normal or dry skin types). For such a mask, a teaspoon of honey should be mixed with raw yolk and half a teaspoon. spoons of cinnamon. Apply the mixture for twenty minutes, rinse with warm water. If you do such masks regularly (up to three times a week), the result will be saturation of the skin with nutrients and moisture.
  3. Against black dots. The recipe for such a mask is very simple, because there are only two ingredients - honey and cinnamon 1.5: 1. Mix them together and apply to the skin in circular motions.Such a mask will also effectively get rid of spots left after acne, but in this case, the ingredients should be taken in equal proportions. After holding the mask for 25 minutes in areas of the skin where black dots or spots have accumulated, rinse with warm water. Carry out the procedures twice a week.

A few tips and cautions:

Masks, the recipe of which includes honey and cinnamon, should not be made for people with intolerance to these components, rosacea, very sensitive or too dry skin, and a tendency to allergic reactions.

Remember about the allergenicity of the “cinnamon + honey” combination, so before any cosmetic procedure with this combination, do a small test - apply the product on your wrist and check the reaction after 1-2 hours. If there is no rash or redness, use the product safely.

Hair lightening

For a little lightening of the hair and giving it brightness, it is quite possible to use a mask with cinnamon and honey.

A mask of these components will not only make your hair lighter by a couple of tones, but will also nourish your hair, adding volume and shine to it. It will also help to get rid of the remnants of dye on the hair, which were previously treated with chemical dyes.

Note that the effectiveness of this mask will be clearly visible on fair hair, for brown-haired women and brunettes there will be a little noticeable effect.

For the mask, you need to prepare liquid honey, ground cinnamon, a spoon and a bowl (they must be non-metallic) and hair balm. It is optimal to buy cinnamon in sticks and grind in a coffee grinder.

Natural hair lightener

Stages of hair treatment with a honey-cinnamon mixture:

  1. Pour balm (150 ml) into a bowl, add honey and cinnamon (three to four tablespoons each) and mix well.
  2. Before applying the mixture, wash your hair and dry it a little.
  3. Apply a mixture of honey, balm and cinnamon to the entire length of the hair, trying to soak all the strands. Try not to get the mask on your skin.
  4. After applying, cover your hair with a film and tie with a towel. In this form, you will need to walk for four hours.
  5. To wash off the mask, the hair will first have to be thoroughly rinsed in warm water, and then washed with shampoo.
  6. Grains of cinnamon may remain in the strands - in this case, try combing them out with a brush.
  7. For a brightening effect to be noticeable, repeat the procedure 1-2 more times.

If you have porous hair (curly or dry), add 2 tsp. extra virgin olive oil.

Helpful Hints

  • For the greatest benefit, honey should be uncandied as well as unpasteurized. This honey contains more vitamins and other useful substances.
  • Cinnamon for use with honey should be bought in sticks. Grind it into a powder right before making drinks, pastes or other preparations.
  • Honey should not be added to boiling water, so as not to destroy the beneficial substances in it.
